Mr. Sorce assists and teaches classes in all of our programs: Lil' Dragons, Youth Martial Arts, Warrior Classes, Adult Taekwon-do, Adult Eskrima, and Adult Ju Jitsu. He takes extra time with individual students to make sure they understand how to properly execute each movement. He also continues to attend seminars, camps and specialty classes to improve himself as a student and instructor.
Instructor Nick SorceNick started training with Mr. Sorce in 1997 at the South Milwaukee Recreation Department. Other students look up to him because of his intense training and exceptional martial art skill. Besides being a great martial artist, he also excels academically and is a role model for our younger students both on and off the mat.
Mr. Sorce is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwon-Do. He also has earned rank in the Inayan System of Eskrima, level 3 certification in Kadena De Mano, and level 1 certification in Siniwali/Dequerdas Mr Sorce also competes in Taekwon-Do tournaments where has has won several first place awards. His highest competition achievement is being the runner up in the grand champion forms competition at the 2004 tournament of champions.
When Mr. Sorce earned his 2nd Degree black belt in Taekwon-Do, his test was very demanding and all of the students and judges were very impressed with his performance. He showed the skill of an advanced martial artist by excelling in all areas and by incorporating what he has learned from Eskrima and Ju Jitsu into his Taekwon-do training. Mr. Sorce has already achieved an unusually high level of skill and understanding at a young age.
